Steps to Ethnic Cleansing: A Simplified Version

First, 
They claim that it's only "illegals" and the "bad ones" they hate.
Second, 
Then it's all the "illegals.
Third, 
Then it becomes some of the "legals" are bad. (We are here.)
Fourth, 
Then it becomes all immigrants. (We are almost here).
Fifth, 
Then it becomes the "bad" Americans.
Sixth, 
Then it becomes who is a "real" American. 
And then...so it goes.

The rhetoric is subtle a lot of times. Everyday people are slowly made to believe that each step isn't too bad. The bigots will push that boundary a little each day to see how far we will let them go. Then they coat it and slowly implement questionable policies...then when we realize the outcome, it is too late. (The analogy of a  frog being slowly boiled in water as the heat is slowly turned up comes to mind.)

They are turning up the heat because it was reported that JD Vance (Peter Theil's whipping boy) stated, "That there are some Americans more American than others." So there it is...

(The bubbles are starting to form at the edges...am I the only one noticing?) 

These policies and the language are about ethnic cleansing. Make no mistake about it.

So how far are you all willing to let them go?

Ethnic cleansing is on our horizon. My siblings and I, our children, and their children could be on that "un-American" list one day.  And, yes, this includes the brother that worships that Orange Bastard. (All I can do is guess that he has some type of Stockholm Syndrome with the  bigots, I can't figure it out. But that is another discussion for another day.)

As I see ICE agents (of every race and ethnicity) gather up other human beings and put them in concentration camps overseas and being built here, it is truly history repeating itself over and over. 

They like to brag about their "Alligator Alcatraz", even selling t-shirts with that name on it.
However, I feel that  "Alligator Auschwitz" is a more appropriate name given by some activists online.  It's appropriate because it tells us where this hate going.

(As if keeping Guantanamo Bay open for over 24 years wasn't bad enough. As if massive incarceration wasn't bad and obvious enough.)

Land of the free? For a lot of us, no so much.

And the Marines patrolling the streets of Baghdad...I mean LA. 

I can only blame the -isms.
Racism and other -isms need to be cut out of our society and institutions because they are a cancer. A cancer that eats us up and divides us as the wealthy laughs and buys another fucking yacht. 

Those who are proponents of hate don't need a platform. Hate is not a fucking opinion. Nazis should be punched and silenced. We should learn the difference between opinion and hate. It's not that difficult unless you are in denial or share their sentiment. 

But how far are they going to go before you stop calling people like me an alarmist?
And why are a lot of you still afraid of the word, "communist"? What year is this? Are we going toward another Red Scare? All signs point to, "Yes". 
And...
Where are those who fight against tyranny? That were so afraid of it coming? Or was that was only when Obama was in office? I forget. Because it's here, no joke, and I am not being partisan about this.
They seem to be silent and gone. Or maybe they do want a tyrannical king, just as long it's a rich white guy. I have a lot more questions...

Anyway, I apologize for my tangents.

As these atrocities have repeated itself over and over in our history, my hope that Americans will be different this time has disappeared. Because it's not the first time in American history that this has happened, but we don't want to admit or teach it. So it's happening again and again and again.

Nevermind all the genocides globally since the Holocaust. 

Anyway, if they come for me and my family, well, let's just say that now I am considering using my 2nd A.

All I know, I'd rather die standing. I can only say that now because my sons are now young men and can defend themselves.

Right now, who I can and cannot trust is becoming important to me. This includes family. Though for a lot communities that has always been an issue. (See the Green Book for example). The bigots and trolls online are busy trying to make sure that even the good people are willing to let the bad people do inhumane things. We seem to be brainwashed so easily by memes. I no longer have the energy to convince you all that this shit is more serious than...

Just nevermind. 

I digress, the point is that they have started this plan. They even point it out in Project 2025.  (Now I know what the "heritage" really means in the name of The Heritage Foundation. They are the KKK, neo-Nazis, misogynists and other hate, by another name but in suits and with degrees.) 

The hateful rhetoric and the confusion of what is just and unjust is being made online. Patriotism is being tied in with nationalism. I explained in simple terms the difference on this blog a long time ago. As in, that it's patriotic to question and criticize. It's nationalism if someone is "love it or leave it." An easy test is if you think the flag is more important than the Constitution than you are a nationalist. For myself, I am more concerned about people burning the Constitution than the flag. Just sayin'.

(Side note: However, if you put that Orange Motherfucker ahead of both...
You're in a cult. You are a traitor. And technically, a supporter of tyranny and authoritarianism.)

(Another side note: Political party does not come before justice, human rights, country and especially the Constitution. The political parties and their/our politicians work for US! That is the point of a democracy! You all get this shit? I don't think some of you do.)

But the steps stated above are simplified versions of steps to genocide.  I am defining ethnic cleansing as a form of genocide, just to make this conversation clearer and simple. (I hope it is.)

We need to acknowledge the injustices of the past to stop them in the present because I want a better future for the next generations of Americans of ALL backgrounds. 

Regardless what the whites nationalists, bigots, misogynists, racists, and all the others tell you, our diversity is our strength. 

Sides are going to have to be made for there is no "center" between fascism and freedom, just and injustice, and bigotry and tolerance. Americans are use to having only two choices, so why are you all claiming shades of gray now when it comes to hate? A friend of mine pointed out that Americans get confused when there are more than two choices. So, as an American, I am giving you two choices in this fight. Are you on the side of humanity or genocide? Two.Choices.

I just need to know, which side are you on?

No One Elected Elon Musk (Or Any Billionaire Overlord)

  It's all over the news and the observations about the power structure that now exists in the White House has been made perfectly clear.  The press conference in the Oval Office with Donald Trump at the desk, silent and only speaking when it seemed when he had permission, while Elon Musk, with his small son picking his nose, did all the talking. It's really a depressing scene as one of the tech oligarchs actually thinks that HE won the election, as the shadow of a man, Trump, who was elected sits there confused. (Maybe Musk did win, as it seems that he bought it.)   As the markets open this morning, I am fretting what that means for my husband and I, who were told in our 20s and 30s that we should be saving our 401Ks for a rainy day. We both are from poor/mid working-class families and both went to college (he served in the Army before I met him). We worked our way “up” to middle class with 2 kids, 2 dogs, 2 guinea pigs, and one rabbit.  If you came to our neighborhood you would see a typical suburban setting of homes built in the early 2000s, and to my chagrin, all beige, except a few that went bold with dark grey, slate blue, and red.  This is our second home and we bought it on short sale in 2014.
