No One Elected Elon Musk (Or Any Billionaire Overlord)
It's all over the news and the observations about the power structure that now exists in the White House has been made perfectly clear. The press conference in the Oval Office with Donald Trump at the desk, silent and only speaking when it seemed when he had permission, while Elon Musk, with his small son picking his nose, did all the talking. It's really a depressing scene as one of the tech oligarchs actually thinks that HE won the election, as the shadow of a man, Trump, who was elected sits there confused. (Maybe Musk did win, as it seems that he bought it.) The scene can be described as one writer on Substack, Nadine Smith, stated it was reminiscent of a scene from Lord of The Rings: Two Towers, where the villain was speaking for the cursed King who was bewitched by the Wizard Saruman. Musk was up there answering questions as Trump only spoke a word or two, that pertained to "the border" and "immigrants."
But my question is: WHO IN THE HELL VOTED FOR ELON MUSK (MUCK would be a better name)?
He and his minions have usurped the US Government for themselves, along with Peter Thiel (turns out I have been spelling his name wrong all this time, but who cares). We now have a President Musk and Vice President Thiel in the White House. They and the other billionaire overlords have had enough of paying off politicians for power and now have found a way to take that power from the people, by finding a puppet that they can control. But not just any puppet, they have Donald Trump to pull the strings who comes with his own cult of followers.
As much as I want to ridicule Trump, I am not going to do it this time. When watching the press conference in the Oval Office, I see Musk humiliating a man, who holds the post powerful seat in the world. And whether I want to admit it or not, Trump was elected President (again) and from my recollection Musk and Thiel were not at the ballot. Trump sat there with his shoulders down while Musk's small son stared at Trump as if he was not supposed to be there.
Musk with his Space X minions have raided our government systems and changed code. As many of you know, he and his minions have "closed" the USAID with Executive Orders from Trump. Musk being South African probably already had deep-seeded hatred for USAID, due to the involvement of the United States' assistance in dismantling Apartheid in South Africa in the 1980s and 90s. His and Thiel's (who is German born) hatred of diversity and taste for white supremacy has driven their extreme libertarian ideas for decades. The sole purpose of Musk and Thiel is to dismantle the United States government with the help of a decrepit old man, who seems to be battling dementia.
Musk in this press conference has claimed to find "billions" in governmental wastes, yet has no experience in forensic accounting or auditing and it's unclear that he hired anyone with that background. As an American, I want to see proof of the supposedly corruption of all "bureaucracy" which he claimed as interfered with our democracy. Our bureaucracy were created for protections of our environment, society, and to serve the American people. The freedoms that it is inferring with are the ones that require that work spaces be safe, our food and drugs safe, our environment clean, and a fair hourly wage. This is a part of your bureaucracy that he is complaining about. These departments work against his businesses and his billionaire friends. And he and I have different definitions of what constitutes a democracy. Plus, I can't tell you all enough, he doesn't believe in democracy. He believes that the wealthy should make all the rules, and we should be grateful for the crumbs that we are paid.
Do I say that we should have an audit of our government? Yes. But this is not the process or the way, we do this. It takes an act of Congress. But as we know, the Republican control Congress has given away their power, and in essence given away ours, to Musk. Congressional Republicans have found the perfect way to tear apart our government of the departments that have been created to protect and serve us without getting their hands dirty. For if the public turns on Musk, they will have him to blame and take the fall. So he is being there guinea pig. However, I will wait for him to start tearing up the Pentagon budget, and be sure that Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, those "Marxist" programs will be next. All I know at 54, if Social Security and Medicare are dismantled, I am going to demand my fucking money back from them all.
That all aside, Trump was sad to watch as he sat there. I actually felt sorry for him, for a second. My hatred of him only allowed that second to see him as human.
Trump is not the same person as he was in 2016. One can tell that his faculties are on the decline and for men like Musk, who basically hates humans besides himself, and only can dream of getting to Mars while letting this planet finish going to hell with Climate Change, is fully taking advantage of an aging man and the followers who feel that Trump was ordained by God.
Trump was an agent of chaos during his first term, but seemed to be somewhat contained by being surrounded by staff and Cabinet members who still respected the rule of law and the US Constitution. This would include former Vice President, Mike Pence, who as you all remember was threatened to be hanged by the January 6th Insurrectionists when he followed the norms and laws by certifying the 2020 election to put Joe Biden in the White House. Also missing is his daughter, Ivanka who was rumored to be the only one to "reason" with her father. None of these stabilizing people are no longer around. Even his sons and son-in-law were paid off by other billionaires to keep away. This time there is nothing to contain him, but there are malevolent, power-hungry men ready to use him as a means to an end of democracy.
The tech billionaires are finally happy that they will be able to obtain real power because prior to this, they were paying for power through our politicians, but now they have the opportunity to wield this power directly. And with Musk's help, they will get rid of all the regulations and rules to make the country's economic system reminiscent of a fuedal systems. For Bezos and Amazon, this would mean getting rid of the pesky Department of Labor with their 40-hour work week and mandatory overtime pay. And we all know how Amazon is with bathroom breaks for their employees. For Thiel, it is the diveristy that he hates so much along with anti-trust laws that he was more than happy to be rid of, same with Zuckerberg and Pichai. Musk, whose Space X, holds billions in US Government contracts and has since 2008, was able to raid the Treasury Department's computers and reportedly has everyone's Social Security Numbers and financial information. All of the tech billionaires, including the CEO of China's TikTok, had front row seats at Trumps second inauguration. They all announced their arrival as our new rulers using Trump as puppet.
What is going to be challenging for our new rulers is that they have made partners with other billionaires and politically powerful people, which the Christian/White Supremacists and the regressive at The Heritage Foundation with their road map to send us back 100 years (Project 2025). All three of these groups are working in unison to destroy all the progress in civic and human rights that this country has made in the past 150 years, including labor rights.
All that Musk is doing by having Trump to sign all the Executive Orders to dismantle Departments is unconstitutional. The Executive Order freezing funding is unconstitutional. Why? Because it is Congress that has the power of the purse. Congress is OUR part in this whole democratic/republic set up. So where is the Congressional leadership that is suppose to provide our "checks and balances"? Well, both chambers of Congress are controlled by the same party of Trump. House Speaker Johnson has basically surrendered the House control to the Trump regime, or I should say President Musk. By Johnson giving away his power as House Speaker, he is in essence is giving up OUR POWER. The people's power is in the US House of Representatives and US Senate. And not one GOP member is speaking out about the billionaire coup that has happened in the White House (which is also ours). And for the current VP? Forget it, he is there as to push it along and reassure those who did vote for his boss, are appeased and all that Musk is doing appears normal. Vance, who has a law degree from Yale, is normalizing and gaslighting the role of the judiciary in their part in this "checks and balances". He knows what he is saying is a lie.
I ask myself why would the Republicans allow this overthrow to happen? Oh, yes, regardless of which category the GOP fall under, the one objective is to erase it all, and if that means tearing down the whole system and ending our democracy, then so be it. The objective is simple, they tear it down and then they can rebuild it in their own image. But what image is that? The tech, futuristic, misanthropic, libertarian type of society with little or no laws or rules? Or maybe a Christian society to where they can persecute other religions, non-white, non-hetero, and trans people? Maybe they'll be able to burn witches at the stake again, while torturing atheists? Or maybe something with a little bit of all three flavors but, my question to Thiel would be, as a gay married man, do you think your wealth will save you from the Christian Nationalists? Hate has no boundaries. Once the "rest of us" are gone, they will turn on you.
If you are someone who voted for Trump, you should be more alarmed than me, as I am someone who hates him to the core of his orange head. If you are someone who puts the US Constitution first, Musk pulling the strings of a old man who is suffering from the early onset of dementia, I say this with compassion, as I really don't think he is the same person as he was in 2016. Musk (and the others) are just keeping entertained with the anti-trans and anti-immigrant policies that he and the other two factions of this coup are working together to tear it all down.
For the first time, I feel sorry for Trump. As I said, he seemed like a broken man that the younger people are just using. I do not fool myself that he doesn't have a massive cult following which makes him valuable to those factions that lack that charisma and following. Musk definitely doesn't have that "it" factor. He lacks that control the room energy about him. This fact is important in why he was in the Oval Office talking instead of Trump. Trump is a useful tool for this destruction of the United States government. Love or hate (like I do) him, he is being used to destroy us all. And shame on his family who seem to lack love or morals, like their father, who are letting an old man be used.
I am not counting on the US Congress to stop this coup. The Congressional Democrats seemed to have been caught like a deer in headlights, as if they did not believe their own campaign slogans that democracy is in trouble. And as stated, the GOP to stop, only if you can get three or four of them to stand for our US Constitution will we be able to stop it. My hope is the judicial branch, our third and equal branch of government (despite what Johnson and Vance) say will reign all this in.
All I can say is that NO ONE ELECTED ELON MUSK. We need to demand the Trump regime dismantle DOGE (Department of bullshit). He is not "saving" us money by finding "fraud", he is dismantling all of it. He is stealing all our data, while making his tool happy by letting them go after Trump's "enemies", including victimizing immigrants and trans-people, all to make the bigoted base happy.
Yeah, no one elected Musk and Congress did not approved his Department of Bullshit. And if he is claiming to save US money then I want fucking receipts. We know that is not why he is there, he is there to destroy it all for billionaires who wish to destroy us all. This is why we need to "Eat the Rich" before they swallow us whole.
