A Rant About An Orange Bastard and Dumb Asses
For the political life of me, I will never understand the person who considers both Harris and Orange Bastard as the same. In my view, the second was a President who was impeached twice, and who denied the existence of a virus that killed many Americans, but at the same time, getting vaccinated himself. Then the Orange Bastard incited an insurrection on January 6th, and for the first time in American History, there was no peaceful transfer of power. So, how are they the same? What am I missing about the comparison between the Orange Bastard and Biden/Harris? How can anyone feel that they are two sides of the same coin? Gas Prices? Inflation? Well in a word those issues deal with capitalism which thrives off of greed and consumption if left unchecked, it has shit to do with democracy. The morbidly wealthy have figured out you don't need democracy to have capitalism, so now they don't want it. Anyway, I see the orange bastard as a tool to accomplish this goal. And as far as civil rights and liberties, I see that this tool and his minions want to set us back 100 years.
You want proof? You all know about Project 2025, it's not a joke. It's a dismantling of the 'administrative state.' This means any federal control or regulation of labor, social security, human services, education, civil and human rights to be eliminated.
And on immigration? The threat of deporting 20 million people is equivalent to acts of genocide. One thing I am tired of is the argument, "Well, I don't mind if they're here legally." When I hear someone say this, I want to scream in their face, "Just say you hate immigrants!" Because we know that's what you really want to say but have convinced yourself that you're only trying to be reasonable. Let your ignorance and hate shine through, the other idiots that you have joined forces with are saying it out loud. Much like the Joliet Township meeting that I attended a while ago. The hate in those people's voices still weighs on me so heavily. Or people that I love accusing a group of immigrants of stealing when in fact it was some white meth heads that stole from them. What the fuck? Honestly, I am not sure if the idiot was on drugs, but to take what he took, I can't understand any other explanation. (Also, I am sympathetic toward those, regardless of color, with a drug problem, and favor federal aid toward those with addictions, but Orange Bastard is not one of them and the authors of Project 2025 definitely do not favor it.)

On Facebook this morning, we all tried to make light of this, but the sad part is that the Nationalists would take it to that extreme and start targeting immigrants. The fact is that the Orange Bastard and JD Vance started this lie and now it's out there. Go ahead, pick up any book and read about any genocides, you will know what I mean. But hooray before someone tries to ban them.
Speaking of genocide, demonization of a group based on race, color, nationality, and gender (and adding other groups that are not covered under the Convention on Genocide in my definition) political groups, LGBT, and income level groups, is the first step in this act. Isn't it bad enough that Guantanamo Bay is still open?! Even after our embarrassing agreement of returning control of Afghanistan to the Taliban (Trump) and our disastrous exit (Biden), we still have this 2001 POW camp open. Well, I guess when it comes to foreign policy, here you can legitimately say that they both are fascists. Both parties vote for an increase in our Pentagon budget, though one side bitches about paying taxes so there's no money for anything else. Well, at least most Democrats favor social programs, so there is a slight difference in domestic issues for what it's worth. And it would be nice to stop all weapon sales and funding to Israel unless there is a ceasefire. Of course, Hamas would need to be done, because I don't think they care about the Palestinian people any more than the Israelis. But that is just one example of a genocide happening underneath our noses. "Never Again" has happened more times since 1945 than I can count. I digress.
Unless you're more like me and think about international human rights, that is where the big difference lies. Since 1932, the Republican party has been calling the Democratic Party socialist because of The New Deal policies. And so they have been sticking to that talking point since...
Do you all know what those words mean? Can you define them? I am not a Marxist, Communist, or true Socialist, you know why? Because I believe in individual liberties, as many Democrats do. Like I hate Homeowners Associations (HOAs) because they are the biggest threat to one of the cornerstones of our democracy, private land ownership, they constantly seem to infringe on those rights. For example, mine tries to say, "No yard signs." Political signs, in my view, are protected by the First Amendment. So I dare them to say something, I really do. I would have the ACLU on speed dial. Anyway, I am however aligned as a Social Democrat. I believe in helping our society and world. It's just who I am. I like public education, I like housing and feeding people when they can't do it, I like people healthy. Which reminds me, my diabetic medicine is on backorder again. Fucking bastards.
Back to what I was saying: Then after 1964, a great deal of Democratic party members switched to the Republican party? And why is that? Oh, yes, the Southern Democrats left to join The Republican party because of the Civil Rights Act passed by Northern Republicans and signed by a Democratic President, Johnson. The Republicans like remembering the one part where they look like heroes and still hang on to the title of, "The Party of Lincoln". But they know and choose to ignore that they now are the dixie-crats. History revisionist, how I hate them.
Now, so I sound a little less partisan, let me bring up Reagan. In my young mind, there were two things that I was happy about. One was when Reagan appointed Sandra Day-O'Connor to the United States Supreme Court. The first woman to be appointed to SCOTUS. Yeah, I know many of you are/were Ginsburg fans, but I was always about O'Connor. And even at 10 years old, I hated Reagan. I wanted Jimmy Carter to win. I guess I was a Democrat at an early age, but I was so proud as a little girl when he appointed Justice O'Connor. This is why representation does matter. Also, class is an identity for the record, so fuck off. But anyway, the second time was when I was a teenager, he granted Amnesty to many undocumented immigrants. I am sure his reasons were different from mine, but still, it was the humane thing to do. Though a lot of labor leftists keep telling me that he only did it to weaken labor unions and the like, for me, it was still humane, regardless of his intentions. The point is that every President regardless of what you think, has their sins and goods, except this orange bastard, I can't come up with one redeeming quality. I have tried over the past 8 years, but I am blank. He runs off of hate. He runs off of fear. He wants money and attention. If you know of one good thing that he did, please let me know. Unless you liked the hateful things that he did, but name something that you think that I might agree with...just one thing. ONE.FUCKING.THING.
My inner pessimist wants to just give up on human beings in general. I think all of us are just a bunch of narcissistic assholes and maybe we deserve what is coming to us, especially those who worship and kiss the ass of the wealthy, the powerful, and famous. I don't hero-worship anyone. Like I always say, I am a bad follower. I ask many questions and want answers even from those I support. I am tired of the laziness and short-term memories of the American people. I am even more tired of those who think that these two candidates are the same. If you're apolitical and ignorant, just say, you don't know. But then I don't want you voting. I am tired of uneducated idiots. Ok, that sounds very elitist, but it's difficult for me to be patient with you idiots any fucking more. Stay home November 5th. I don't want you in the fucking booths. I don't want you commenting on politics and issues. You need to get off social media and stop watching TV or YouTube as your only source of politics. Read! Read! From all points of view!

- I want the strengthening of the separation of church and state! If they want to get political, they can pay fucking taxes!
- I want endless wars to end.
- I want us to cut ties with Saudi Arabia. Fuck them bitches.
- I want to manufacture our goods in the US.
- I want small businesses to thrive (for my own selfish reasons).
- I want a strong labor force.
- I want a just immigration system.
- I want DACA passed.
- I want labor protections to increase, including wages.
- I want to get paid by BIG Tech for selling our information. Google owes me a lot of fucking money.
- I want SCOTUS reform! Because Roberts isn't the Chief Justice that I thought he would be, he lost all integrity with me. We need terms for these fucking people.
- Speaking of which, I want campaign finance reform and term limits in office. Sort of like 2 terms for the US Senate and 4 for the US Congress. Stupid bastards stay in too long. Shit, I love Durbin but he's been in office since I graduated ISU.
