Aren't We Tired of War?
So this asshole who got a deferment due to "bone spurs" and called veterans "losers" but was still elected in 2016 and 2024, started another war. Why? I am not sure. I've heard several reasons, all that make no sense. Rubio, who it seems I mistakenly thought was an intelligent person, gave some word-salad response, something about Israel attacking Iran, then Iran attacking our bases, so that is the reason for the preemptive attack...what the fuck?
Why do veterans generally vote for these idiots time and time again? During my lifetime each Republican administration has started a war and crashed the economy, but yet the lie that Republicans are good for business and veterans keeps going around each election cycle. (I can say that in 1973, I know that the Vietnam war ended during Nixon's term, but that's the last exception to that rule.)
Anyway, this orange idiot who claimed to be "America First" started a war on Saturday with Iran after illegally removing the leader of Venezuela nothing but a month ago. And this wannabe dictator in a dementia-induced drooling statement said that "American Heroes lives will be lost," from the comfort of his golf course in Florida then went back to the green.
Note: We also bombed Nigeria once or twice.
At 55, I personally am tired of this war bullshit. Have I ever joined the military? Fuck no! Plus during the 90s and 2000s, the government never enacted the draft and plus cis women do not get drafted anyway. And the fuck if I were going to volunteer, though I thought about it. Glad I didn't. But my Dad and husband did, so that counts, right?
Since the end of WWII, America's overblown ego started with the idea that we needed to fight against "communism", blah, blah, blah... And if you know US history, you know that this was called "containment policy". Containment policy had SHIT to do with democracy, freedom and the rest of the bullshit that these politicians claimed that it was all about. Korea, Vietnam, every involvement in Latin America was about CAPITALISM! If you really think it was about human rights and democracy, you would hate the idea of us propping up a genocidal dictator, Pinochet for years in Chile during the Cold War. And many others throughout the world so as long as our government let the corporations run amok in these countries.
And then when 9/11 hit, we couldn't just send special forces in to capture Bin Laden and his cronies, we started a whole fucking 20-year war, that costs many lives and trillions of fucking dollars! And if you think about it, we probably had people (my age) serve in the early 2000s in Afghanistan and Iraq, then years later sent their children to fight in those SAME wars! How fucked up is that?! Seriously?! Are we really going to do this again. Where these veterans will now send their grandchildren. Fuckin
If I were to punish a country for creating "terrorists" it would have been Saudi Arabia, right?! AND no I am not advocating that shit, but if you thought the Iranian dickheads were bad to women, wait until you hear about the fucking Saudi royals.
Or better yet how about the fact the AMERICAN GOP is trying to roll back women's rights, as The Heritage Foundation's Project 2025 plan is to roll back the 19th Amendment! And for the record, you all might want to read about the SAVE act as this will make it difficult for married women who changed their names to vote without bringing a bunch of paperwork or a passport.
So fuck all the married women who voted for this orange asshole and to those women who always gave me a hard time of me NOT changing my birth last name. So fuck you. And honestly, I can't understand how in 2026, I still get shit about it. AND DON'T get me started on abortion rights, as Tennessee has a bill in their state legislature to apply the death penalty to women who get abortions. Yeah, but tell me about how bad women in other countries have it. And how women are treated better. And what about Kansas treatment of trans Americans, requiring them to put their birth sex down on their ids. Yeah, America the beacon of freedom and human rights, not really, not ever. Well, were getting close, but you all said, fuck that let's roll it all back. That's being regressive not conservative. But I digress.
This possible long war that will cost us lives (six so far for troops and 500 in Iranian, including 100+ girls after bombing an all-girls school, because you know, this orange motherfucker cares so much about girls.) and will cost us trillions again. But meanwhile we cut social programs, as we always have money for war. Don't we? Always. Always. Education? NOPE. Healthcare? NOPE. Housing? NOPE. Student Loan Forgiveness. NOPE.
Oh, but we do have money to bail out businesses, banks, and farmers. And wars, we always have money for wars.
Hell, there are military service members who get food stamps because we don't pay them enough. BUT SURE, the GOP is the party for the military and veterans. Oh, yeah, speaking of which, the head of Veteran Affairs tried to change disability benefit requirements, until he realized that it pissed a lot of veterans off. Well, that's great but maybe we could have gotten more pissed off when we let a morbidly wealthy psychopath cut social programs and steal our data. BUT WHO FUCKING CARES?
We are a war-hungry, blood-thirsty nation. But to have a narcissistic sociopath had the helm of this war, only to avoid any questions about his name being found in files of the largest human trafficking scandal in our history, his name being found over 5000 times! Go ahead and check some news sources that do not include the ones who always read or listen to... He's a pedophile, a fraud, a crook, you know everything that some of you claim that you hate. Well, that's bullshit. And never mind that he is so easily manipulated, because all someone has to do is kiss is ass, stroke that fucked up ego, and get him to bomb another country. Nice job, Netanyahu. Now if only we could kiss his ass to abolish ICE and stop them from murdering Americans and Immigrants or maybe we could stroke it to get healthcare or our save our democracy. Surely, one of his supporters are more than happy to suck his tiny dick for a cause.
I am tired of America starting wars. So fucking tired of propping up genocidal dictators in the name of self-interests and capitalism. Born in 1971, I have seen so many bombings of less nations on the news over and over. By the way, we're still bombing boats in the Caribbean and Maduro's government is still in charge. Though, I think it's hilarious that the Machado (Venezuelan Peace Prize Winner) kissed his orange, shit-covered ass by giving him HER Nobel Peace Prize in hopes to take the power reins in Venezuela. AND it failed miserably. Yeah, that wasn't about democracy, again, it was about oil. But at least, oh wait, actually, we might want to check on what is going on with that.
If the military action in Iran is not quick, then we are facing another long war, how long? Because Dems, in my life time, have a bad habit of not ending the wars that the GOP start. Well, I guess Biden did, right? Oh, but the Orange Motherfucker worked out the "art of the deal" with the Taliban by returning power to them 20 years and trillions of dollars later. And Biden did not think to renegotiate it, oh well. Oh, meanwhile, Afghan women are back to where they were in 2000. Yeah, America is about "freedom," democracy, and human rights. We're the "police" of the world? I guess if we're like the cops that shoot unarmed black people we are...
It's bullshit. This is all bullshit.
We send our people to die in wars in the name of capitalism. Not human rights. Not democracy. And yet we wave the flag and say, "support our troops." Well, for me, as a mother of two sons, who will be 18 and 19, I am not interested in sending them off to war. And again, The Heritage Foundation (a terrorist and antidemocratic organization, in my opinion) wants to reinstate the draft, see the Project 2025 cunt plan. What's really fucking ironic is that many of these "architects" of this road-map in destroying our democracy, are GenX (my age) and many, many never served in the military because why? Our politicians were too cowardly to do a draft in our never-ending wars. Ask some veterans who served several tours in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria (an expansion by Obama). Yeah, when discussing war, I am bipartisan when it comes to fucking blame. But the point is that there was no draft all these years. AND now you have GenX nonserving assholes trying to reinstate the draft. I am ashamed that I am of the same generation as these fucks. Then they got nerve claiming to be RATM and U2 fans, "I didn't know they were political." The hell?
Also, when is the last time Congress declared war? Congress, again as a civics lesson for you idiots, is US, the people! So WE, the people, have war powers, not this fucking idiot, and definitely, not that drunken, greased asshole hair-style frat boy. WE decide if WE go to war! And as a member of WE, the PEOPLE, I am tired of fucking war. Tell the morbidly wealthy, the ivy-league elitists, and Barron to go fight this war. I am not willing to sacrifice my sons. If there are two people that I am willing to die or kill for, it'd be them. I personally do not glamorize the military or fucking people dying in them. My compassion is saved for the veterans who come home and their government (the politicians) abandon them. But personally, if we can't take care of the war veterans, why create more of them? I support our troops by not supporting them being sent off to wars in the name of capitalism.
By the way, I am not anti-capitalist, I am a wannabe small business owner. I have social media accounts on capitalists-owned platforms. For fucks sake I am typing on Google Blogger. I live in fucking reality. But the fact that morbidly wealthy people are not happy with just having an unhealthy amount of money, but they want to destroy everyone else and our government. If there's a class-war, it was started by the morbidly wealthy generations ago, and it's everyday people who are losing.
Honestly, I think it's long overdue for another revolution. Because the morbidly wealthy class do not know what sacrifice truly is, and they and their children seem to become sociopaths. (NOT ALL, but most.) Yeah, they and their children can go fight. Because I am tired of fucking wars in the name of these morally corrupt assholes.
