Update on the Apocalypse

 So, whatever "ceasefire" was planned out between the US and Iran with Pakistan serving as the mediator, well, it lasted 10 minutes, or half a day. The point is that it was over before it began, why?

Because Netanyahu decided that the ceasefire didn't apply to Israel bombing Lebanon. And just that is how it goes. 

Not only is Trump easily manipulated, but he far from being any kind of leader. Now, no one will take US seriously, not ever again. Our global respect militarily and diplomatically is gone. Our hegemony is gone. This administration has weakened our economic and global power, and they do not care. The billionaires figured out a long time ago that they do not need democracy for capitalism to thrive.

Actually, the American oligarchs want a "corporate" ran type government, taking the Reagan philosophy to the next destructive step. You have a boss in which everyone kisses their asses and does not question. If you question, you risk being fired. If Peter Theil and the others get their way, we'll all have bosses, not governors, not representatives, etc. 

Actually what the oligarchs want kind of reminds me of learning about the coal mining companies that started their own little towns, where they paid their workers in "corporate bucks," instead of US Currency. And this includes your rent, food, etc. Basically, this becomes a form of slavery because you can't ever get out from under them. If you want to see a modern-day example, look up Disney's "internship" programs. However, this is what the oligarchs want, a corporate-run state without individual rights. So when he and his computer science self-proclaimed philosopher of the "dark enlightenment" that claimed that democracy no longer works, so let's destroy them. Whelp, they definitely weren't being original. Thank you to the Museum of Science and Industry for teaching my family and me about the coal mining towns. Anyway, that's what they want for the whole country, a fucking mining town. 

The point is that one way to accomplish this is to back a wannabe dictator with a fascist movement. What is interesting is that a pundit pointed out today that Trump seems to have no ideology, which is something that I have been telling people for the last decade. He only cares about money and the con. He could have ran as a "progressive" democrat and promised healthcare and would have gotten voted in, and still be the narcissist conman that he is now. It didn't matter. He saw politics as a con, and playing the media and half of the American public was part of the game. The point is, I think, even though I want socialized medicine in the United States, I would hope that I would looked past just one issue. I am not a one issue voter, and my advice is that no one should be. It's a two-party system, so it is truly is about choosing the lesser of the evils sometimes. But you all do you...

As we face the apocalypse yet again, while he uses threats to lower the market then only to pull back the threats to increase the market. I can only guess that this not only solidifies his desire to be a dictator, but it helps his billionaire buddies buy low and sell high, all in a week.  Then there's the fact that Congress does not stop him. And I will repeat until I blue in the face, Speaker Johnson has surrendered our, we the people power, and it doesn't help that he and many like him thinks this all part of some Xian prophecy and their Jesus will come and get them. I wish he would come to get them to be honest. As a matter-of-fact, I wish all these religions gods, messiahs, and prophets will come and get them all. Please. Not that there won't be assholes left with the rest of us, but I am pretty sure it could solve some problems. Hmmm...

Maybe I should be praying to whoever will answer to bring it on...

Nah, I appreciate life and those in it. I appreciate my planet. Life is too short to be living for a possible afterlife. At 55, I have already lost a great deal of people throughout my life, and the last thing I want is to lose more. Much like the families of the 13 service members and 160 plus school-age girls who lost their lives thus far. I don't want an apocalypse. But I think this man would burn the world down rather than admit he made a mistake.

For those still supporting him, I hope it's your sons (because frat boy doesn't want your daughters serving) that are drafted for this prophetic war.

No One Elected Elon Musk (Or Any Billionaire Overlord)

  It's all over the news and the observations about the power structure that now exists in the White House has been made perfectly clear.  The press conference in the Oval Office with Donald Trump at the desk, silent and only speaking when it seemed when he had permission, while Elon Musk, with his small son picking his nose, did all the talking. It's really a depressing scene as one of the tech oligarchs actually thinks that HE won the election, as the shadow of a man, Trump, who was elected sits there confused. (Maybe Musk did win, as it seems that he bought it.) As the election draws closer, my nerves are in knots. Will the American voting public choose common sense and democracy, or will they choose a shit-show version of fascism that comes in orange and wears a red tie?  I have no faith in the American voting public at all, not since 2016.
