Project 2025 - Preparing to Fight.

 Below is an article that seems to sum up Project 2025 really well.

It seems the plan was created to happen quickly instead of the analogy of a frog slowly boiling in water and not jumping out because it doesn't seem to realize what is happening. It seems the Heritage Foundation's Project 2025 wants to throw us in the boiling water.

After reading this article and its excellent breakdown, I think it's just one of the many articles I will be reading along with the actual Project 2025. I just downloaded it from The Heritage Foundation. It is a 922-page book. But the download is free and I provided them with my Yahoo email which I do not really use, so well, I am not sure what kind of anarchist I would be with my name on the "Regressive" website.

You know I never really cared about them, but as this article has stated, they have moved further right over the last few years. These conservatives are not "Reagan" ones anymore, but more regressive than I really thought about. 

Now, I am afraid that these incels will get their chance and repeal the 19th Amendment.  And for those who voted for this, well, they see "labor" as the enemy, so good luck with that.

As this article wonderfully points out, every progress we have made in labor, women's rights, LGBT, civil rights, etc. will be sent back 100 years in four. And they have control of all four branches, there is going to be hell to pay. And if the Dems, with zero backbone, move further right, this will be the nail in the coffin of our progress and our democracy.

It's not hyperbole. But 74 million of you chose this, so rot in it. But you might want to read this article.

All I know, I will be spending time in DC over the next four years.

One note of hope is that if we know exactly what they are planning, we need to be prepared to work on our own strategy to fight and move forward. 

What happened to progressive institutions, did they begin to take everything for granted. Why are we so reactionary and not proactive? It seems that we should be more proactive.

Dear Asshole Americans who voted for the Orange Motherf*cker (especially family members), A few days ago was January 6, 2025, for those keeping track, it was a day in which Congress routinely certifies the Presidential Election. It felt normal, unlike the last Presidential election certification.  On January 6, 2021, our years of tradition and the core of our democracy was challenged for the first time when there was no peaceful transfer of power.  Instead we watched as "Americans" stormed the Capitol all in the name of saving their Orange Bastard messiah from being "cheated out of an election."  We all know, including you all, that it was a fucking lie from, to use Jon Stewart's words, a "whiny bitch".  The current election certification was completed without the horror that we witnessed four years ago.   As the markets open this morning, I am fretting what that means for my husband and I, who were told in our 20s and 30s that we should be saving our 401Ks for a rainy day. We both are from poor/mid working-class families and both went to college (he served in the Army before I met him). We worked our way “up” to middle class with 2 kids, 2 dogs, 2 guinea pigs, and one rabbit.  If you came to our neighborhood you would see a typical suburban setting of homes built in the early 2000s, and to my chagrin, all beige, except a few that went bold with dark grey, slate blue, and red.  This is our second home and we bought it on short sale in 2014.
